Chicago rugby in 2004 is with the Lions. Founded in 1964, 2004 is our 40th and we celebrated this milestone in ours—and Chicago rugby's—history with golf and a banquet.

A founding member of the USA Rugby Super League in 1997, the Chicago Lions Rugby Football Club is the premier rugby union club in the Midwest of the US and a powerhouse in the Chicago rugby scene, reaching the Super League semi finals in 2003.

Super League is sponsored by:
KooGa Michelob Amber Bock Pepcid AC

We run 4 full sides (including an over-35 Grey Lions) plus a well-run 7s program—the Lions A side competing in the National Super League each spring. We had 3 players in the US Eagles 2004 squad touring to Ireland – C. Scott Jones, Dave Fee and Dave Williams – and an experienced coaching staff, led by Head Coach Marty Wiggins.

The Lions are sponsored by:
Jack Daniels

During the spring and fall seasons, the Chicago Lions play home games at either Revere Park or Schiller Woods. Thanks to everyone for all the hard work and financial support that went into making Revere Park an option.
