Geoff Schweger's Coach's Award
The Geoff Schweger Award, named after the late Geoff Schwegeran Australian
who coached the Lions in the 1980sand is given to the player who the Coach regards
as the most spirited team member, both on the field and at training.
This year, it went to fly half Duncan Blowers, who
had a great 2003 Super League season, scoring the winning try and conversion in
the come-from-behind win (0-24 at half) against Golden gate at Schiller Woods.
As you can see, it is only 95%-finished, with the 1994
and 1995 recipients absent. If you have/are the "missing
pieces", please send us an email.
