Our Men's XVs program is a thriving and prestigious organization that fields both Division 1 (D1) and Division 2 (D2) teams. Our historic program has won over 16 Midwest Championships and has been a regional and national contender since its inception in 1964.
Our D1 team is a powerhouse in the world of competitive rugby. With a rich history and a strong commitment to excellence, we compete at the highest club levels of the sport, consistently challenging ourselves and our opponents. We have a strong tradition of success, and we continually work hard to uphold our reputation for skill, toughness, and sportsmanship. The Lions for Hope Sports Complex is the official training ground and home of the Chicago Lions. Located at 2637 W Polk St, Chicago, IL 60612, this state-of-the-art facility was opened in 2019 and boasts a full-size 5G turf field as well as two locker rooms and a community/weightlifting room. With superb resources, Lions for Hope Sports Complex provides the perfect environment for athletes to hone their skills and advance their game.

We are a member of the Midwest Rugby Football Union, a territorial union that oversees rugby play across the entire midwest. Our senior 15's team plays in the Midwest Rugby Premiership, while our Sevens program participates in the Midwest 7's series. Both are the highest level of amateur play available in the Midwest.
