60th Anniversary Gala Details

  • Our Gala will take place the weekend of September 1st, with the following scheduled events:

    Friday, August 30th: Opening Night Cocktail Reception to be held at the Columbia Yacht Club (a separate event ticket is required).

    Saturday, August 31st: Rugby Game(s) Day with family BBQ hosted at the Lions for Hope Sports Complex. We'll start with a scrimmage between our Men's teams at 10:00 am followed by our Women's team facing off against Milwaukee at 1:00 pm.

    Sunday, September 1st: 60th Anniversary Gala

  • The event begins at 5pm with a Welcome Reception. The dinner and formal program starts at 6:30. Dinner will be a 3-course plated sit-down dinner. There will be a two-hour open bar from 5pm - 7pm.

  • We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting our 60th Gala at the Congress Hotel. Located at 520 S Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60605.

    A block of hotel rooms at the Congress will be available for those making travel arrangements.

  • Gala tickets are now available! You can buy individual tickets, buy a table, or sponsor a table.

    You will also need a ticket to attend the Friday night reception. You can purchase them here.

    The venue has a capacity of 300 people, so don’t wait to purchase your tickets!

  • There are numerous sponsorship opportunities available to support the Gala and the Lions. These can be individual or company sponsorships. The sponsorship levels are on the event registration page. All sponsors will be recognized in the program.

  • We are doing a 60th Anniversary Program book where you can buy an ad to promote your company, celebrate a team/player, share a memory or a photo. The program will include Lions history and recognize significant events, etc.
