How long have you been a member of the Lions organization?

I joined the Lions in the Fall of 1986 when I moved back to Chicago. I’ve been involved administratively since we formed the Chicago Lions Charitable Association in 2011. 

Why did you choose to join the Lions organization? 

I chose the Lions because we were the best rugby club in Chicago and one of the best in the country. I wanted to be the best so I played with the best.   

What type of work do you do with the Lions?

I am currently the President of the Lions. I am actively involved in our mission and overseeing our youth and senior programs and the Lions for Hope Sports Complex. I lead our fundraising efforts and our capital campaign to complete the Lions for Hope Sports Complex.

Background

I have been a financial advisor for 30 years and have my own wealth management practice. Before that I was first in public accounting as a CPA and then in corporate america in international finance after receiving my MBA.
