How long have you been a member of the Lions organization?

I joined the Lions in the Fall of 1986 when I moved back to Chicago. I’ve been involved administratively since we formed the Chicago Lions Charitable Association in 2011. 

Why did you choose to join the Lions organization? 

I chose the Lions because we were the best rugby club in Chicago and one of the best in the country. I wanted to be the best so I played with the best.   

What type of work do you do with the Lions?

I’ve transitioned out of the presidency of the Lions, but remain actively involved on the board and in our mission, overseeing our youth and senior programs and the Lions for Hope Sports Complex. I led our fundraising efforts and capital campaign to complete the Lions for Hope Sports Complex.

Background

I have been a financial advisor for 30 years and have my own wealth management practice. Before that I was first in public accounting as a CPA and then in corporate america in international finance after receiving my MBA.
