Jennifer Kelliher

President

How long have you been a member of the Lions organization?

I joined the Lions in 2018 when the Women XVs program started, have been a board member since 2021, and became President in July 2026.

Why did you choose to join the Lions organization?

I chose to play with the Lions because of their investment in women's rugby and the ability to offer the best facility and coaching in the midwest. I chose to serve the Lion's community because I believe in the importance of development of players, coaches, and refs for men, women, and youth programs.

What type of work do you do with the Lions?

I became President of the Lions in July 2026 and continue to actively support both the Women’s 7s and XVs programs.

Background

I am originally from Texas and found rugby while working abroad in China. I moved to Chicago in 2015 and am a Landscape Architect by day.
